Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. (CPL) is a full-service testing laboratory operating in the greater metropolitan Washington, DC, area for over 20 years. As an independent, self-driven organization, we focus on providing a broad spectrum of laboratory testing with the highest level of service to the physician community.

CPL has partnered with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to provide the highest quality clinical and anatomical pathology services. Johns Hopkins also plays a significant role in the medical leadership of our laboratory which operates under the stewardship of Medical Director, Stanley J. Podlasek, MD.

Our technical staff is knowledgeable and experienced and our pathologists are board-certified in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology. All are readily available for consultation to answer our client’s technical questions and/or discuss patient results.

CPL participates in the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Laboratory Accreditation Program and has CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act) certification through CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). CPL also holds current licensure and/or permits with various state and local regulators.
